History

2004 saw the redistribution of the riding which combined most of the Edmonton-Highlands area with some of the Edmonton-Norwood area.

A considerably new riding located in Edmonton's northeast, we are bordered by the North Saskatchewan River to our east and south; by Yellowhead Trail and 118th Ave to our north, and 97th St squaring off our western border.

Our riding boasts the beautiful Ada Blvd, Alberta Avenue, the historic La Boheme bed and breakfast on 112ave built in 1913, as well as Rexall Place; home of the Edmonton Oilers and host to many of Edmonton's biggest events. Edmonton Highlands-Norwood is home to many individuals and familes from various cultural backgrounds and income levels, and is truly one of the most diverse and interesting ridings in all of Alberta.
